What this covers
Cosmetic restoration is not one procedure. It is tooth-colored fillings, bonding, veneers and crowns used together to deal with damage, wear, decay or discoloration across several teeth at once.
Why treat teeth together
Working one tooth at a time can leave a mismatch, because each new crown is matched to the teeth around it as they look that day. Planning several at once means the shade, the shape and the edges are decided for the whole smile rather than tooth by tooth.
How it is planned
It starts with an examination and a conversation about what you want changed. Anything active, decay or gum disease, is treated first. The cosmetic plan follows from that, and you see it before any work begins.
It does not have to happen at once
A plan can be staged over months, starting with the teeth that show. Knowing the whole picture from the beginning is what stops early work having to be redone later.
